Each fall, Lancaster County is home to a plethora of local fairs and farm shows that provide a full day of excitement and entertainment for the whole family. Each of these events has unique offerings from parades to food competitions, livestock exhibits to live music. Be sure to check out these events during your stay this fall!
The 2023 Lancaster County Fair & Farm Show Schedule
- Elizabethtown Fair
- 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the Elizabethtown Fair. This fair is home to countless events, including line dancing, cornhole tournaments, live music, livestock exhibits, and competitive exhibits including needlepoint, LEGOS, and more!

- Denver Fair
- Since 1981, the Denver Fair has been providing five action-packed days of events each fall. This year, attendees will find a variety of events to attend at the fair including bingo, live music performances, magic shows, livestock shows, and so much more. There will also be food, games, and rides for the whole family to enjoy.

- Solanco Fair
- With a community parade, livestock shows, tractor pulling events, and plenty of local, homemade food, it is no surprise that the Solanco Fair is a highly anticipated Lancaster County tradition. In addition to these major events, there will be children’s games, a celebrity cow milking contest, and much more.

- Ephrata Fair
- The Ephrata Fair is the largest street fair in all of Pennsylvania, and they have been bringing community together for this exciting event for the last 104 years. With dozens of rides, plenty of food, and a parade to kick off the week, there is so much to experience at this fair. This event is not-to-be-missed and will provide endless amusement for the whole family.

- West Lampeter Community Fair
- For nearly 100 years, the West Lampeter Fair has been providing the community with family-friendly fun and education. This event is meant to provide some friendly competition between neighbors and encourage young people in the area to learn more about animals and quality food products, while also giving them a chance to compete in categories like baking, canning, and sewing. Be sure to check out this 3-day event that is sure to be full of delicious food, fun, and friendship!

- New Holland Farmers Fair
- For over 80 years, New Holland has been hosting their annual Farmers Fair. This event features a parade, livestock shows, food, games, and fair rides and will be enjoyable for visitors of all ages. The fair kicks off with a parade on Wednesday night and continues through Saturday evening.

- Manheim Community Farm Show
- Every October, the Manheim Community Farm Show provides a place for the community to come together and enjoy some delicious local food, exhibit their handmade items, and showcase their livestock. This event’s schedule is packed full of competitions, family events, and exhibitions which means that everyone can find an event that appeals to them!

- PA Farm Show
- Although taking place a little bit past the fall fair season, the Pennsylvania Farm Show is by far the biggest event to take place in Central PA each year. This weeklong event is home to countless food vendors, commercial exhibitors, livestock showcases, and events like: Tractor Square Dancing, Rodeo, Sheep Herding, Sewing Contests, and so much more! There is truly something for everyone at the PA Farm Show.
